Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a boutique real estate company in Central Dallas to hire a Corporate Accountant. This is a newly created role due to growth, offering excellent visibility to the VP, strong work/life balance, and a friendly, collaborative work environment. Role Highlights:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, cash reports, and supporting schedules across multiple entities.
- Review complex real estate transactions, apply GAAP guidance, and deliver insights to management.
- Partner with FP&A and senior leadership on liquidity forecasting, budgets, variance analysis, and lender reporting.
- Perform reconciliations, covenant calculations, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Support strategic decision-making with ad hoc analysis, special projects, and tailored reporting.
- Drive process improvements by streamlining reporting, enhancing accessibility, and developing creative, data-driven solutions.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably from large public accounting
- BS in Accounting required
- CPA (or CPA eligible and pursuing) required
- Real estate and/or partnership accounting experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
