We’re assisting a client in North Dallas seeking an experienced Accounting Contractor. This role involves recording journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, managing accounts payable, and preparing financial reports, including funding requests and quarterly partner submissions. You’ll also handle construction reporting, review pay applications, and support ad hoc projects. QuickBooks experience is highly preferred, and candidates should have 3-5 years of accounting and internal reporting experience. Job Responsibilities:
- Record journal entries as needed
- Monitor receipt of Accounts Payable and accurately record
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations of all entities
- Prepare the Invoice approval report
- Prepare the monthly funding request – Construction and Operations
- Monthly upload of operating reports
- Reconcile statements
- Coordinate and process draws and pay apps with inspector and general contractors
- Review pay apps for accuracy and generate coding to the general ledger
- Update construction services reports monthly
- Assist with monthly progress report
- Prepare the quarterly report
- Ad hoc requests
- This accounting contractor will have at least 3-5 years of accounting and internal reporting experience.
- QuickBooks software experience is highly preferred.
Interview Process:
- One virtual interview with the co-founder and then an in-person interview with both the co-founder and the corporate controller.
