We’re working with a dynamic client in the construction industry, who is seeking an Interim Senior AP Contractor to provide immediate support to their accounting team. This role will focus heavily on high-volume invoice processing while also contributing to general ledger activities. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger reconciliations.
• Support the accounting team in maintaining timely and accurate financial records.
• Assist with monthly close activities as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide support during any system implementation or testing.

Requirements:

• Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Years of Experience: 5+ years of AP experience, including general ledger exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Industry experience in construction preferred.
• Prior system implementation or testing experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and some ERP experience / skills required.
