Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a successful and fast-growing real estate developer in Central Dallas in its search for an Assistant Fund Controller. This company offers a very good work/life balance and great benefits including gym membership reimbursement, 401K match, company contribution, etc. This position will report to the VP (dotted line to CFO) and is responsible for the accounting and reporting activities for various operating and development properties. This position also involves reviewing performance metrics, investment waterfalls, and Joint Venture financial statements, while leading internal accounting managers, senior accountants, and offshore teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements include an accounting degree and 6+ years of related accounting experience, including real estate, joint venture, or partnership accounting experience required. Additionally, this person must have strong verbal and written communication, good management skills and a “think outside the box” mentality. Salary for this role will depend on experience but will roughly be in the $140K - $160k range plus lucrative bonus.
