Billing Manager
Job Description
Unity has partnered with a global, multi-billion dollar, privately held client located in north Houston. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Billing Manager to join the finance operations team supporting invoice and billing-related processes. This role will support invoice reconciliation, issue resolution, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This is a unique position and will ultimately move pretty fast for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the customer to ensure accurate invoice processing and alignment with contract terms.
- Manage and resolve disputed, abandoned, and invoices pending approval.
- Prepare and distribute a weekly report listing all open/disputed/abandoned invoices for review by the customer and related internal teams
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel) and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners.
- A self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and navigate procurement or finance systems (Coupa, SAP, Sage, TMF, etc.).
- Project-oriented and improvement-focused.
- Prior experience with Coupa or similar procurement/invoicing systems.
- Familiarity with cloud billing models, or technology procurement.
