Interim Payroll Manager
Job Description
UNITY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to assist our client during a critical post-system implementation phase. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of payroll processes, strong technical skills and a proven ability to manage complex payroll functions and staff.
Responsibilities:

- Analyze new payroll system to identify areas of improvement.
- Assist with documentation and additional training as needed.
- Process payroll and answer employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Monitor payroll processes for potential errors and discrepancies, implementing corrections where needed.
- Provide guidance and support for a team of processors.
- Degree in accounting, finance or related fields.
- Experience with Oracle required.
- Experience supervising and managing a large payroll team.
- Proven experience with payroll system implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
