Job Description
This far North Dallas real estate firm has partnered with Unity Search in search for a Controller, Property Accounting. Awesome corporate culture, excellent benefits/perks (jeans daily, summer hours, wellness reimbursement, etc.).
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
- Overall responsible for accounting and financial reporting needs of operating properties
- Coordinate and oversee the annual budget and quarterly reforecast process for all operating properties
- Coordinate and oversee joint venture external audits
- Responsible for preparation of quarterly cash projections and monthly review of available cash for distribution for operating properties
- Responsible for accounting related items for acquisitions
- Supervise a team, including training and coaching
- 7+ years related experience in real estate accounting, strong preference for office real estate
- CPA required; BS in Accounting required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Prior supervisory experience
