Interim Part-Time FP&A Contractor

Job Description
A North Dallas, private equity-backed company is seeking a high-energy finance consultant to take ownership of FP&A for one of their key business segments while also supporting PE reporting. This flexible, part-time role (15–20 hours/week) offers the opportunity to partner closely with leadership and dig into meaningful work. The duration is open-ended. If you enjoy working with data, building reports, and navigating financial planning tools, this could be a perfect fit.
Responsibilities:

Own FP&A responsibilities for a core business segment, including close, reporting, budgeting, long-range planning, commissions, and business case support

Conduct revenue and sales analysis to support decision-making

Build and refine reports and dashboards within Salesforce

Handle ad hoc financial requests and strategic modeling

Assist with reporting and analysis for private equity ownership

Support M&A activity as the business grows
Requirements:

Strong FP&A experience, particularly with sales/revenue analysis and planning

Salesforce proficiency required – must be comfortable building and working within reports

Exposure to any major FP&A software

Tech- and data-savvy, able to work with large data sets; SQL familiarity is a plus

Available for 15–20 hours/week

Confident, energetic, and proactive approach to work

Must pass a background check prior to starting
