Job Description
Unity has engaged on a JIB Accountant search for a leading offshore energy exploration and production client located in downtown Houston. This position is responsible for supporting the company's joint
interest billing accounting functions and ensures that expenditures are recorded within the framework of our clients' policies and procedures in compliance of applicable regulations.

Key Attributes & Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading audit engagements with Joint Venture Partners.
- Assist in resolution of open audit exceptions for operated and non-operated properties.
- Maintain Yard Inventory including recording Material Transfers, calculate yearly lower of cost or market adjustments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Experience in BOLO or Excalibur accounting systems preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience in the Oil/ Gas (Exploration & Production) industry
