Job Description
Interim Senior Accountant – Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking to make an immediate impact? We have an exciting interim contract opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional with expertise in fixed assets, general ledger management, and full-cycle accounting. This 40-hour-per-week role is based in Dallas, Texas and will remain open until all key projects are completed. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have strong ERP and Excel skills, we’d love to connect!
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting – general ledger management, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Fixed assets accounting – capitalization, depreciation, roll-forwards, and asset tracking.
- Month-end and year-end close – prepare adjusting entries and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Audit support – assist in reconciliations and provide documentation as needed.
- Job cost and cost accounting – labor allocation, overhead tracking, and inventory accounting.
- Excel proficiency – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis for financial insights.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and streamline processes.
- One-round Teams interview with the CFO
- Onsite availability a full 5-days per week.
