Project Accounting Supervisor

Job Description
Unity is searching for a Project Accounting Supervisor for a growing, energy infrastructure client located in The Woodlands, TX. We are seeking an experienced and detail- oriented project accounting supervisor with significant experience in NetSuite project accounting environment. This position will work closely with a team of project accountants to manage financial functions, including project accounting, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transactions, including project accounting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Participate in regular compliance and tax audits
- Prepare budget reports and forecast revenues
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor
- 3-5 years’ experience with NetSuite ERP, specifically in Project Accounting
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas), also Power BI proficiency
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Team management skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus
Job Requirements
