Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a highly reputable real estate company in Dallas that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This company retains their people very well (average tenure is 8+ years) due to their culture and great work/life balance. This is an opportunity for someone who wants a stable, well compensating role with a fun work environment. They are majority in office (4 days in/1 day remote), and compensation will go up to 115k + bonus.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Manage the financial health of a portfolio of office properties through comprehensive accounting procedures.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including AP, AR, month-end closing, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for multiple properties within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Some of the requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of commercial real estate property accounting experience
- Experience with Yardi is a big plus
- Strong with excel & Microsoft office suite
