This opportunity will report to the Controller and work closely with the CFO on month-end close procedures along with streamlining processes and creating new efficiencies. This company is PE backed and growing FAST. So someone who can see the big picture and operate strategically is required. Depending on experience, compensation will fall around the 100-120k range + bonus.

Job Description
Unity search has partnered with a Knox Henderson based software company that is on hybrid work schedules and in search of a Senior Accountant. This opportunity will report to the Controller and work closely with the CFO on month-end close procedures along with streamlining processes and creating new efficiencies. This company is PE backed and growing FAST. So someone who can see the big picture and operate strategically is required. Depending on experience, compensation will fall around the 100-120k range + bonus.
Some responsibilities are:
- General accounting duties include various components of the month-end close processes and transactional accounting.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with GAAP.
- Drive continuous improvement focusing on streamlining, enhancing, and automating processes.
- Participate in system implementations or migrations and automation projects.
- Provide audit support for external audit, including substantive and controls-related work.
- Daily cash activity analysis and posting, reconciliation, and forecasting.
- Other accounting duties and related projects as assigned.
Some requirements are:
- CPA required
- 4-7 years of accounting experience required
- Industry accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of GAAP & Internal Control procedures required
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
- Public accounting (audit) foundation preferred
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
