Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a wealthy family office that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This opportunity is hybrid (3 in/2 out) and located in Downtown Fort Worth. This role will give a wide variety of exposure to different types and structures of investments. Although the role will start off focusing on accounting, this person will be able to start taking on investment analyst responsibilities as soon as they are ready. Compensation for this will gup up to 110k + bonus.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Conduct complex reconciliations, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency transactions, and fixed assets
- Maintain and update the company’s chart of accounts and journal entries.
Some of the requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1-5 years of experience required
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements required
- Public accounting (audit) experience preferred
- “Intellectual curiosity” is a must
- Exposure to financial services is a big plus
