Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a publicly traded company in Dallas on hybrid work schedules (3 in/2 out) that is looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager to their team. This company is in an extremely stable financial position with zero debt on its balance sheet. They also offer 100% paid employee medical premiums, a great work/life balance, and a fun culture. Compensation for this opportunity will depend on experience and go up to 170k + 25% target bonus.

Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Oversee month, quarter, and year-end close
- Assist with preparation & review of month, quarter, and year-end financials along with flux analysis
- Mentor and supervise a team of 10 accounting personnel
- Work closely with technical accounting department to interprate complex contracts
- Support both internal and external audits
- Continuous improvement/streamlining of internal controls, reporting, and accounting
Some of the requirements are:
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor of Accounting required, advanced degrees preferred
- 6-12 years of accounting experience with publicly traded companies
- Big 4 audit foundation strongly preferred
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred
- Strong supervisory experience required
