Senior HR Manager/Director

Job Description
UNITY Search has partnered with a growing company based in Denton to hire a Senior Human Resources Manager. This role will oversee and guide the daily operations of the HR department, including recruiting and interviewing candidates, managing compensation, benefits, leave policies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to understand and implement the organization’s HR and talent strategy, particularly concerning current and future staffing needs, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Offer support and expert advice to HR generalists, management, and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR matters.
- Direct the recruitment process, which includes sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates, especially for managerial, exempt, and professional positions.
- Review compensation and benefits trends; conducting research and recommending competitive salary and incentive programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Develop training and development programs aimed at fostering internal growth opportunities for employees.
- Manage employee disciplinary processes, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and implementing best practices; continuously evaluating policies and practices to ensure compliance.
- Stay informed on the latest trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and advancements in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
- Ability to efficiently learn and navigate the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
