Senior Sales Tax Manager
Job Description
Unity Search is working with a Services Company on a Senior Sales Tax Manager position. This is a newly created role due to growth. Their corporate office is located in the central Houston area; however, they offer a primarily remote schedule with the option to work in the office as desired!
The primary responsibilities are:
The primary responsibilities are:
- Manage the sales tax audit process by supporting the business units with sales tax audits; negotiating and settling audits; and identifying tax refund opportunities
- Act as the internal tax consultant to research and identify indirect tax exposure and/or liabilities
- Train and work with the business units to advise and answer all indirect tax taxability questions
- Review contracts related to M&A activity, new vendors, etc.
- An unlimited PTO policy
- Their office closes for 2 weeks at the end of December
- Very flexible work schedule, primarily from home
- Jeans can be worn any day when you are in the office
- Focus on diversity and inclusion
