Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with an expanding real estate company looking to hire a Staff Property Accountant. This role is newly created due to growth. Excellent benefits! Extremely profitable and stable S&P 500 Company!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for one or more functional areas: fixed assets, cash and revenue reconciliation, property operating expenses (including the prepaid or accruals associated with those expenses), with emphasis on GL account analysis, journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), SOX requirements and Company policy.
What our client is requiring to be considered for the role:
- 1-3+ years corporate accounting experience
- Property accounting experience required (1-2 years).
- Knowledge of accounting theory, including GAAP and IFRS is preferred.
- CPA preferred.
