Restaurant Accounting Contractor
Job Description
Do you thrive in fast paced restaurant environments and enjoy stepping in to bring clarity, structure, and stability when a team needs extra support? A multi location restaurant group is seeking an Restaurant Accounting Contractor to provide additional accounting support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and partnering closely with operations and leadership to strengthen processes.
The position is based primarily in North Dallas with a hybrid schedule. The initial contract is expected to be at least three months, with potential to extend.
Responsibilities
• Help with day-to-day accounting operations across multiple restaurant locations and entities
• Identify and correct accounting inaccuracies
• Support and manage the month-end close process, including account reconciliations
• Partner closely with operations to ensure accuracy of sales, labor, and cost reporting
• Review and support the work of one team member
• Assist with financial reporting and documentation as needed
• Help strengthen accounting processes and controls
• Travel between office and restaurant locations
Requirements
• Prior accounting management experience within the restaurant industry
• Experience supporting multi location restaurant operations
• Hands on experience with Restaurant365 is required
• Strong understanding of restaurant accounting workflows and controls
• Comfortable working in a lean environment and getting involved in day to day tasks
• Ability to work onsite several days per week with local travel as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross functionally
• Liquor and alcohol related accounting experience
