Position: Senior Accountant (Contract)
Location: North Dallas (Hybrid)
Hours: 40 hours per week (occasional light overtime)

Overview:A well-established company in North Dallas is seeking a Senior Accountant with light technical exposure on a contract basis to provide stability and support during a period of transition. This role will touch a wide range of accounting activities, from close processes and audit support to GL work and light consolidations, ensuring the team stays on track while they search for a long-term hire. The ideal candidate brings strong general accounting experience within a large ERP environment, with any ASC exposure (particularly revenue recognition) considered a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end close activities

• Assist with audit preparation and requests

• Handle general ledger accounting responsibilities

• Support basic consolidations work

• Maintain momentum and continuity during a period of transition

• Collaborate closely with the accounting leadership team

Requirements:

• Experience working within a large ERP environment (SAP preferred but not required)

• Solid GL accounting and audit support background

• ASC knowledge a plus (especially revenue recognition)

• Ability to step into a busy team and contribute quickly

• Professional, reliable, and able to work hybrid (Mon–Wed onsite)

• Offices closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day
