Job Description

Title: Datarails Specialist (FP&A Systems Implementation & Configuration)
Duration: 8 weeks (possible extension)
Location: Remote (Central Time Zone hours preferred)

Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration & Development
  • Configure Datarails modules for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Build and customize templates (P&L, revenue, cost of sales, payroll/headcount, OPEX, etc.).
  • Manage data mapping for file boxes and ensure accuracy in financial data integration.
  • Optimize syncing between DataRails and NetSuite (GL).
  • Implementation Support
  • Continue the system rollout (implementation + configuration) already in progress.
  • Translate FP&A requirements into Datarails build-outs (turn “what the business needs” into working templates).
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional issues; liaise with Datarails’ support team when needed.
  • Document configuration, workflows, and best practices for ongoing use after engagement ends. Qualifications:
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience with DataRails (implementation, configuration, and template development).
    • Strong FP&A / finance systems background (understanding of budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, reporting).
    • Experience working with NetSuite integration is preferred.
    • Functional + technical fluency — ability to both configure the system and help end-users adopt it.
    • Excellent Excel skills and understanding of data mapping, filtering, and financial modeling.
