FP&A Systems Manager (TM1)

Job Description
Location: North Dallas / Plano corridor (on-site hybrid)
Unique Attributes:
- Own and elevate a multi-year TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) build supporting enterprise FP&A
- High-visibility role reporting to the VP of Finance (FP&A)
- Opportunity to simplify models, fix data flows, and deliver intuitive reporting

- Lead day-to-day ownership of the TM1 environment for forecasting, planning, and reporting
- Translate FP&A needs into intuitive TM1 models, inputs, and reports; reduce end-user friction
- Improve data movement in/out of TM1; coordinate with IT on integrations and performance
- Build, maintain, and govern reporting deliverables (management/operational/variance)
- Provide light TM1 admin duties and triage small development needs (outsource when appropriate)
- Partner with finance leaders to align models with P&L, balance sheet, and cash reporting
- Support monthly/quarterly planning cycles and ad hoc scenario modeling
- 5+ years in FP&A systems or finance systems roles, including hands-on TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics)
- Strong finance/FP&A fluency (income statement, balance sheet, forecasting/reporting)
- Industry experience in homebuilding / residential construction preferred
- Proven track record improving end-user experience and delivering reliable reporting
- 4 days in office / 1 WFH; may flex to 5 days on-site in the future
- Salary will be based on experience but would be roughly in the $120K to $150K range
