Unity Search has engaged with a publicly traded, manufacturing client located in SW Houston to assist in its search for a Corporate Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements. It oversees the consolidation of financial results for all U.S. entities, interprets and analyzes financial trends, and provides meaningful analysis to support leadership decision making.

• Lead the preparation and review of all financial statements and supporting schedules for U.S. operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results.

• Support consolidation activities, with expertise in foreign currency translation, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations.

• Prepare and present internal management reports, such as regional weekly reports and analysis.

• Oversee all billing processes and accounts receivable collections to ensure timely and accurate cash flow.

• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits

• Support the preparation and analysis of company-wide forecasts.

• Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal teams to coordinate and fulfill all required tax documentation requests.

• Perform ad hoc requests, as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA preferred.

• CPA license is strongly preferred.

•  6 + years of accounting experience; with a background in U.S. GAAP, SOX, and large-scale general ledger systems.

• 3+ years of experience in auditing with a public accounting firm highly desired.

• Proven expertise in consolidations, accounting, and reporting in a multi-legal entity public company organization.

• Analytical, with strong orientation to detail and high degree of accuracy.

• Prior experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills required
