Unity Search has partnered with a family investment office located in Fort Worth that is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This opportunity offers significant growth potential, with the plan being to groom this person into becoming the Controller. This company offers exceptional (fully paid) medical premiums, a young/family oriented culture, a great work/life balance, and the opportunity to gain experience with very unique investment types. Salary will depend on experience but the total comp can be very lucrative as the family pays out very significant bonuses.

- Responsible for accounting and reporting for multiple PE investments and assigned partnerships, including partnerships, trusts, foundations, LLCs and operating companies within the family office
- Supervise the work of a Fund Accountant
- Maintain a working understanding of the partnership agreements(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
- Assist with cash flow operations, including forecasting
- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed
- Produce quarterly P&L and Balance Sheets for all of the various investments
- Work on Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Some requirements are:
- CPA
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance Required
- 5+ years of related fund accounting experience
- Ideal candidate would have a public accounting foundation
- Advanced knowledge in Excel
- Very strong communication skills
