Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Compiles reports based on financial statements and implement policies and procedures for financial reporting and intercompany accounting.
- Communicates deadlines to and problem solves with leadership team and store management.
- Constructs and implements accounting projects, financial reporting, data collection, general ledger, cost analysis, budget, billings, bank reconciliations, cash transactions, accounts receivable, account payments, month end closes, profit and loss statements.
- Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information.
- Acts as a resource for the leadership team in financial matters.
- Maintains an organized filing system for correspondence, business matters, and other related data.
- Maintains confidentiality and system security.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
- Five years or more of accounting leadership experience required.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks Enterprise, MarginEdge
- Proficient in inventory management system (COGS-Well or similar)
- Strong background in cost accounting. (preferred)
