We’re partnering with a client who is seeking a Project Accountant to support a data migration following a recent acquisition. This is a project based contract opportunity where you’ll play a hands on role in migrating, validating, and reconciling accounting data across systems during a defined transition period.

This role, which is roughly 90 days in duration, is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work, is comfortable with manual processes, and wants to make an immediate impact on a clearly scoped project.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support a data migration initiative following a recent acquisition

• Assist with transferring and validating accounting data between systems

• Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Identify and help resolve discrepancies during the migration process

• Perform hands on, manual data review and cleanup as needed

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the project

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Project Accountant or in a similar accounting role

• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and or Sage (Sage 50 strongly preferred)

• Exposure to accounting system migrations or conversions is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and comfort with manual, data heavy work

• Ability to work independently in a project based environment

• Willingness to work primarily in office
