Job Description
Senior Tax Director – REIT/Real Estate Funds - Hybrid
Key Highlights:
- Large international publicly traded company in Dallas looking to add a Senior Tax Director to their team
- Serve as the REIT tax subject matter expert and oversee annual REIT qualification testing
- Lead tax structuring for open-end funds, closed-end funds, joint ventures, and co-investment vehicles
- Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, refinancings, and other strategic transactions
- Oversee partnership allocations, tax compliance, financial reporting, and investor tax reporting
- Manage ASC 740 reporting, FIN 48 analyses, and relationships with outside tax advisors
- Partner with investor relations on tax disclosures, PPMs, and investor communications
- Monitor tax law changes, oversee tax audits, and strengthen internal tax controls
Key Highlights:
- Hybrid, only 2 days in office per week (Tuesday/Thursday)
