Senior Upstream Accountant
Job Description
Unity has partnered with an established upstream oil and gas client on an exciting Senior Accountant opportunity supporting a highly operated, oil-weighted offshore portfolio. This is a great opportunity for an experienced upstream accountant who wants more than a traditional month-end role.
You’ll have hands-on ownership across:
• AFE accounting & property accounting
• Yard inventory & material transfers
• ARO, DD&A, allocations & reconciliations
• Capital projects and well equipment tracking
• Partnership with Operations, Procurement & Drilling
• ERP implementation & accounting process improvements

- AFE / inventory / material tracking experience
- SAP, BOLO, Excalibur - similar ERP experience

Job Requirements
- 5 + years of upstream (O&G) accounting experience (Property/ Production/ Joint Interest)
- Authorization for Expenditures - Experience with AFE accounting, cost inventory/material tracking
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, journal entries, and financial statement impact.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
