Unity Search is working with a publicly traded company in Downtown to hire a State Tax Professional. This role is looking for candidates with 2+ years of state income & franchise tax experience.

In this role, you will:

In this role, you will:
- Prepare U.S. state and local corporate income & franchise tax returns, including preparation of all forms, schedules, attachments, and supporting workpapers.
- Prepare state modification computations, analysis of enacted tax legislation, and other supporting calculations for compliance and tax accounting purposes.
- Prepare estimated tax payments and extensions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting entries to record payments, required adjustments, reclasses, and other needed journal entries.
- Work on the accounting close process with respect to ASC 740, including account analysis and reconciliation.
