UNITY is currently searching for a highly motivated Trade Finance Analyst for a Commodity Trading client located in west Houston. This position is responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, supporting commodity trading operations through accurate invoice processing, vendor management, month-end close activities, and collaboration with commercial, operations, treasury, and accounting teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced commodity trading environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced commodity trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage high-volume AP processing and vendor payments
- Perform invoice matching, reconciliations, and accruals
- Partner with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls
- Background in commodity trading, energy, logistics, or transportation preferred
- Experience with month-end close and high-volume invoice processing
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Experience with MS Dynamics, RightAngle, Allegro, Endur, or other ETRM/CTRM systems a plus
- 2–5 years of operational accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
