We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as Vice President of Finance. This role will be responsible for reporting compliance for external investors and managing communication with the in-house accounting team, as well as preparation of partner-level financials.

Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to serve as Vice President of Finance. This role will be responsible for reporting compliance for external investors and managing communication with the in-house accounting team, as well as preparation of partner-level financials.
- Act as the primary financial point of contact for investors and other financial stakeholders.
- Support fundraising initiatives, including private equity and debt financing
- Prepare quarterly fair market value report on all investments
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and executive teams to ensure accurate and transparent financial communication.
- Manage the treasury function across multiple entities
- Ensure property-level financials are prepared in accordance with GAAP and other requirements of outside investors
- Coordinate with outside CPA firm for preparation of tax returns, monthly financials for parent company, etc.
- Prepare partnership financials for investment entities (non-operating)
- Maintain and manage lines of credit – track funding, balances, etc.
- Assist with audit process of JV entities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience
- Open to straight public (audit – Big 4 preferred), or public/industry combined
- Exposure to the real estate industry strongly preferred
- CPA or pursuing preferred
- Strong understanding of financial statements, partnership accounting, and GAAP
